FergoTech now hosted on Fergonez

Since 2011 I've loosely maintained a secondary website dedicated to DIY sim racing projects using Arduino and other utility softwares. The site is called FergoTech.

In order to make things simpler, I've decided to move all the relevant content of FergoTech into here. Any future projects related to sim racing will be posted here instead of FergoTech.

All relevant content previously posted on FergoTech can be found in the Sim Racing menu on the left.

I'll keep the original website up for a few months yet, but I plan on eventually shutting it down and redirect the domain to this one.

IFR (VOR and ADF) simulator

During the past couple of weeks I've been working on a simple VOR and ADF "simulator", that I'm now releasing to the public for free. I initially started this project as something for myself, but then I thought it my be useful for other aviation enthusiasts as well, so I made it "prettier" and released to the public.

Here's a screenshot of it's main screen:

Fergo IFR Simulator

It's also worth noting that this shouldn't be consider a proper simulator for real flight training, as it doesn't simulate some characteristics such as radio ranges, cone of confusion, and so on. The wind is also very basically implemented. It's more of a tool to get a hang of how the instruments work.

I tried to make it as simple as possible to use. Also, please report any bug or inconsistency you may find. I've added a "Help" button that has a basic usage guide.
